Ground floor internal and external walls, steel work, and inter floor covering completed before work on the first floor and roof structure gets underway on 17 August.
Brick work completed in readiness for the timber frame, the main components of the ground floor delivered to site in the week commencing 24 July.
The concrete pour took place on 2 June in advance of the timber frame, now expected in July now the factory has reopened. Our fundraising is relaunched.
The sewer is diverted once the approval for the scheme is received and the rainwater discharge drain is installed across the Recreation Ground. The piling mat is installed but the piling, scheduled for 24 March, is deferred for four weeks as the response to coronavirus begins to bite. The piling company arrive on site
Work got under way on 8 January with the removal of the nets and the clearance of the site. There were stops and starts through February because of the wet weather (the wettest February on record!) and time taken to secure Southern Water Ltd’s approval for the sewer diversion.
